When the golden October enchants the Salzburg mountains, two exceptional chefs come together for a culinary summit meeting.
On 25 October 2025 at 6 pm, Andreas Herbst and Josef Steffner will combine their culinary skills to create an extraordinary 6-course menu. Two Michelin stars, eight Gault&Millau toques and the shared passion of the Jeunes Restaurateurs d’Europe merge to create an evening that celebrates autumn in all its facets.
The evening gets off to a sparkling start: we welcome you to this special guest performance with a glass of Moët & Chandon champagne. The fine bubbles will set the perfect mood for an evening full of culinary surprises.
Andreas Herbst – the chef at ‘dahoam’ in the Riederalm Leogang, who has been awarded a MICHELIN star and the Green Star for sustainability – brings his alpine gourmet workshop to the Mesnerhaus. Together with Josef Steffner, the two friends cook with a lot of love and create dishes that interpret home and autumn in a unique way.
A feast for all the senses: the Müller winery accompanies each course with carefully selected wines that perfectly underline the autumnal flavours. The winemakers are personally on site and share their passion for exceptional wines.
