Louis Roederer – An Evening of Champagne Legends

On 12 March 2027, the Mesnerhaus opens its doors for one of the most exclusive evenings in its history. Just 20 guests will experience a 6-course menu accompanied by one of the most significant Champagne houses in the world: Champagne Louis Roederer.

Guiding the evening is Georg Schachner – Brand Ambassador for Louis Roederer in Austria and a man whose love of great wine is deeply rooted in his biography. Growing up in Maria Taferl beside the Wachau, with Singerriedel and Honivogl as early companions, a passion for exceptional wines was almost inevitable. After stops in the Alps, he found himself drawn to Champagne – and a new, profound love was born. Today he shares that knowledge and enthusiasm as the face of Louis Roederer in Austria.

What Georg will pour that evening is simply extraordinary: 2 vintages of Cristal and a legendary Vinotheque disgorgement, the Cristal Rosé, the unique single-vineyard Coteaux Champenois Hommage à Camille, as well as the Collection and the Signature Terroir Champagnes from the Côte des Blancs, the Montagne de Reims and the Vallée de la Marne. A spectacular programme that showcases the full breadth and depth of this great house.

Josef Steffner will create 6 courses at the highest culinary level – each one carefully matched to its Champagne, in an evening that will not come around again.
