Austria’s top chefs leave their usual kitchens and provide culinary surprises for JRE colleagues throughout the country. They don’t cook in their own restaurants – but in other people’s kitchens. Who is cooking where? It remains a secret until the first courses are served.
On 1 October 2025 at 18:30, the Mesnerhaus will become the stage for this extraordinary guest performance: a renowned top chef from another JRE restaurant will take over our kitchen for one evening. Who? You’ll find out during the course of the culinary evening.
The roulette principle: Josef Steffner leaves his cooker to a colleague from the JRE family. The guest chef brings special products from his homeland and fuses them with the treasures of our region to create a unique 5-course menu. A culinary surprise that will amaze even regular guests.
