A Culinary Celebration with Heart and Heritage

On July 5, 2025, Mesnerhaus turns 18 – and it’s time to celebrate with soul, style, and exceptional cuisine. Michelin-starred chef Josef Steffner and his wife Maria, sommelier and gracious host, invite guests to a special evening where sustainability, alpine nature, and culinary artistry come together.

Under the theme Farmers & Chefs Table, a unique menu will be created in collaboration with Michael and Friedolin Kerschbaumer from Kaslab’n Nockberge. This menu doesn’t just delight the senses – it tells stories of mountain herbs, handcrafted cheeses, and premium cuts of lamb and kid goat. All ingredients are rooted in honest farming and regional craftsmanship.

Friedolin, a graduate of the Culinary Masterclass, brings fresh perspectives and youthful creativity. Together with his father Michael and Josef Steffner, he will help shape the evening’s menu – a celebration of tradition and innovation.

A special highlight awaits cheese lovers: a cheese workshop led by Michael Kerschbaumer, where guests can dive into the world of artisanal cheese and make their own cottage cheese to take home.
